Senior Research Scientist, Generative AI

Meta AI is looking for a highly motivated Senior Research Scientist to contribute to our groundbreaking work in Generative AI. You will conduct research, design experiments, and develop novel algorithms and models in areas such as large language models (LLMs), diffusion models, and other generative techniques. Your work will involve pushing the state-of-the-art in AI creativity, understanding, and generation, with the potential to impact billions of users across Meta's platforms. Responsibilities: * Conduct cutting-edge research in generative AI and large-scale models. * Develop and implement new algorithms and architectures. * Publish research findings in top-tier AI conferences and journals. * Collaborate with engineers to deploy research prototypes. * Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the research community. Minimum Qualifications: * PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent research experience. * 5+ years of post-graduate research experience in AI/ML. * Proven track record of publications in leading AI conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR). * Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks. Preferred Qualifications: * Expertise in deep learning, particularly in areas relevant to generative models (e.g., transformers, GANs, VAEs, diffusion models). * Experience with large-scale model training and distributed computing.
