Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Meta AI is looking for experienced Machine Learning Engineers to build and scale the next generation of AI systems that power our products and research. **Responsibilities:** * Design, implement, and deploy production-level machine learning systems and infrastructure. * Develop and optimize ML models for various applications, including recommendations, content understanding, and generative AI. * Collaborate with researchers to operationalize cutting-edge ML algorithms. * Drive improvements in ML system performance, reliability, and efficiency. * Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team's technical direction. **Minimum Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. * 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or machine learning. * Strong programming skills in Python or C++. * Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and distributed systems. * Solid understanding of ML principles and best practices. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. * Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop). * Experience with MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring. * Familiarity with PyTorch's distributed training capabilities.
